Happy Easter

I hope that you all have a fun and relaxing long weekend.

Believe it or not, our year is quickly coming to an end.  There will be lots of exciting things happening over the next few weeks.

Literacy
Your child should be working on their biography project at home.  We will be presenting our living museum in the first week May.  I will confirm the date soon and let you know in case you want to stop in and witness your child playing the role!

Math
We will be testing on our decimals unit next week. Your child should be working on their study guide over the weekend in preparation for the test.  Our next and final unit is geometry.

Science/Social Studies
Our habitats unit is going great! The kids have embraced the challenge of becoming an expert on their habitat.  We are preparing our group pictorial input charts that they will use to teach their classmates.  Upon the completion of this unit we will study government.

A few exciting things to come...
Olympic Day, Walk/Bike to School Day, and our end of year celebration.  If you have any questions about these events, be sure to check your child's backpack for communication from our classroom.
