Labor Day Weekend

I hope that your families enjoy the long weekend.  There is one important reminder from our classroom.

WEB Books and reading logs
Earlier this week I sent home a description of our book reports for this year.  The first WEB book is due in class on Tuesday, September 2.  Your child was given their reading level range.  The book needs to be a chapter book with at least 150 pages.  Please help your child find a book that they will enjoy reading each day.  

In addition, our weekly reading logs have begun.  Each night the students are responsible for reading 30 minutes, writing 2 or 3 sentences reflecting on their reading and getting parent initials.  This is due back to me every Monday.
